How to place a Crust storage order by Crust Wallet on Socbay.io
Socbay.io has recently integrated the client-side placing storage order via Crust Wallet. To use this feature, please visit https://wiki.crust.network/docs/en/crustWallet and install the Crust Wallet extension.
How to place a storage order on Socbay.io using Crust Wallet
Firstly user needs to register a Socbay account. The registering process takes only 30s to complete.
- Upload a file in https://socbay.io/upload or https://socbay.io/uploadvideo
2. Connect Crust Wallet in https://socbay.io/uploadhistory
3. Allow the extension and choose the wallet if there are multiples wallets in Crust Wallet extension
4. Click Upload button under Action column to initialize the order and allow the transaction on Crust Wallet. User interacts directly with Crust Network, Socbay.io doesn’t collect any information concerning user wallet.
5. When the order is successfully placed, a popup will appear and user can get information on that order.
To track the block which includes the transaction:
To track the order status in real time, user can click Socbay Explorer on the popup or go to https://socbay.io/explorer and input the CID to get its current status on Crust Network
The order need to wait some minutes to get picked up by Crust Nodes.
